Reaction to credibility quiz

This is what we did today in class. I did quizzes 1,3,4,5, and 10. Seeing what my answers were and what would've been the best decision to make really made me think. At the end of the the quiz it gives you what would've been the best decisions to make and why. The scenarios were really great and made me think.

Title IX

As you may or may not know, Title IX's 40th anniversary is coming up shortly. Most people don't know what Title IX or Title Nine is. I didn't know what it is till my teacher said something about it. I play softball for my high school and I read about Title Nine too find out more about it. It is one of the most important laws for women of every race and religion. Title IX is a law passed on June 23rd, 1972 and it states that men and women have equal rights. This right allows me to do what I love (softball) and girls all over our nation to play sports, receive higher education, become doctors and lawyers, get sport scholarships...etc. Since learning about this law I have a better understanding of what it must've been like for girls my age before 1972, where the only sports they could play were cheerleading and square-dancing. My softball sweater for my school says "Established 1972" and I'm proud to live in a country where men and women are equal.
